Tennessee vs. Alabama Game Watch Party 10-22-2011

Alumni, family, fans, and friends,

Join us at BlackFinn this Saturday to cheer on the Vols as they take on the #2 Alabama Crimson Tide.  Coming off a tough loss last weekend the Vols could use our support this weekend!  Come ready to sing Rocky Top and cheer loud.  We’ll have the all Tennessee cash raffle at halftime with awesome Tennessee gear that you can’t get anywhere else in the DC area, there’s even a rumor of another Tennessee Snuggie in the area (will this be the weekend it makes an appearance?).

Raffle:  Half-Time - $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets.  All proceeds benefit the DC chapter.

Reminder:

For our new members and even our old members arrive early in order to get a seat.  Seats are first come first serve.  We will do our best to make sure everyone has a good time and can find a seat.

The Facts:

• ·       This game is known as the Third Saturday in October (even if it isn’t actually the third Saturday on the calendar)
• ·       Tennessee has not beat Alabama since 2006, and not in Alabama since 2003
• ·       This is one of the fiercest rivalries in the SEC and in all of College Football
• ·         Nobody will forget how we were one blocked field goal away from beating Alabama the last time we were at Bryant-Denny Stadium
